Being a heterosexual girl, I have often heard rumors of this girl now coming out as bisexual or as a lesbian, and wondered if perhaps they were just doing it for attention. But then again, as the interviewees in this piece showed, they were unable to come up with concrete examples, as I also have no firsthand experience. If in fact, "posing" bisexual people do exist, I understand how infuriating that might be to someone who has struggling with revealing their true identity. However, I think that it would be more positive to look at it as society, albeit slowly, becoming more accepting and tolerant of all types of sexuality.
