Review of "What's the deal with Adults and Coffee?"

It’s incredible how as children we wonder many things. Ten year old Sylvia brings out a very important question in her audio story, because as children we wonder why our parents or relatives like coffee so much. Her overall interview is incredible she makes a’ lot of good points throughout her audio story. The overall tone of the audio is good, her voice sounds perfect. Sylvia does an awesome job on interviewing different people and incorporating all of them throughout the story. It would have been interesting if she would have added music, just to add a little enhancement. But overall I really enjoyed listening to this story.

Review of What's the deal with Adults and Coffee?

Ten year old Sylvia Hitchcock-Jones gives a whole new meaning to youth-produced radio with this impressive exploration of the adult world of coffee. Of course, it helps that Sylvia's mother is not only an avid drinker of Americano but also Alaska Public Radio producer Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock.

Great sound, interviews and narration make this a top notch piece.

Review of What's the deal with Adults and Coffee?

Sylvia presented her story very clearly and professionally - with a good deal of personality. I enjoyed listening to this piece very much.

I was once a barista and managed a small cafe. Every morning parents would come in for their coffee with their children in tow - waiting to be taken to school. I would see these same parents around noon and then again once the kids were out of school.

This story brought me back to my cafe days. It made miss all of the children I became friends with during that time.
