Summary: Tanya Ward shares her experience of recovery from the disease of addiction. In and out of jail from the age of 16, a life on the run, living on one kidney from being stabbed, and separated from her babies while in jail, she managed to break free from her drug addiction.
Many people do not believe they can live down their past and make a new beginning Tanya is the Experience, Strength & Hope that so many struggling with addiction need to hear, she continues to pave a way for others to follow. I found this article by accident and I am proud to say I know this woman and she is the MIRACLE!!! That is possible for all of us. F.B.T
I enjoyed this piece. One of my students reviewed it for a class assignment. I like the tone of the narrator. But mostly I like that Tanya is telling her own story!
