TRAILER TO- Springsteen: Writers' Favorites

From Paul Ingles | 10:00

A trailer to an upcoming series of 3 - hour long programs featuring 7 top music writers picking Bruce Springsteen songs to do deep-dive commentary on as they mark the release of Springsteen's first new album with the E Street Band in 6 years. The album LETTER TO YOU is scheduled for an Oct. 23rd release and these specials produced by Paul Ingles will be released over 3 weeks on either side of album's release...plus a one-hour compilation special.

Public Radio's Top Music Documentary and Specials producer Paul Ingles has assembled a panel of 7 top music writers who have each picked songs from the Springsteen catalogue to comment on in-depth to mark the occasion of Bruce Springsteen's new album LETTER TO YOU. It's his first new studio album with the E Street Band in 6 years. New tracks from the new album will also be included in the shows. (See planned SONGLIST below)
Paul is prepping three hour long specials spotlighting these thoughtfully selected tracks and will release them over the next three weeks for stations to use by licensing them through the Public Radio Exchange.
Like most musicians, Bruce and the band are waiting anxiously for the "all-clear" from the coronavirus to start touring again (he's guessing 2022). Bruce is on the cover of the latest Rolling Stone magazine that also features a list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time (Bruce has 5 on that list). A "Making of LETTER TO YOU" feature film will premiere on Apple+TV on Oct. 23rd as well.
